That’s where you come in.
You’ll be taking responsibility for the entire operational side of the business, bringing together Projects, Production, Technical and Creative under one joined-up approach.
Now, that doesn’t mean telling a room full of experienced people how to do their jobs.
They already know that.
It’s about making sure everyone is pulling in the same direction, understanding how their decisions affect the wider business and creating an environment where people can do their best work without constantly firefighting.
Then there’s the commercial side.
You’ll need to know your numbers. Really know them.
Understand where margins disappear, why projects sometimes cost more than they should and how to put the right controls in place without suffocating the creativity that makes the business successful in the first place.
You’ll be working closely with the CEO and wider leadership team, helping shape the next chapter of the business.
That means challenging thinking, making difficult decisions, developing future leaders and occasionally being the person who asks the question nobody else wants to ask.
You’ll need to be comfortable with that.
Really comfortable.
This isn’t a role for someone who simply wants to oversee operations and keep everything ticking along.
It’s for someone who’s been there, done it, understands the complexities of a creative, project-led events business and knows how to turn a successful company into a genuinely scalable one.
Someone who can see the bigger picture without losing sight of the detail.
And importantly, someone who understands that good operational leadership isn’t about controlling everything.
